Welcome

Welcome to the Vineyard Community Church’s webpage.   I invite you to take some time to look through our information and get acquainted with who we are, how we live out the Gospel, and what we believe.

The Vineyard Community Church was birthed in January 2011 and began as the Clifton Vineyard Church. In August 2016, after 6 1/2 years renting in 2 different locations, we bought a building, moved to Orchard Mesa and changed our name. We are happy to be home at 2711 Unaweep Avenue on beautiful Orchard Mesa.

Our vision is to be a place where people can come, learn, love and live. We pursue this vision by having a relevant and comfortable worship service where people can come and learn, love and be loved, and learn how to truly live. We want people here to connect in relationship with Jesus, form community with one another and feel like they are home.

Our Sunday services begin at 10 am. We teach solely from the Bible and have worship to begin and end the service. We collect our gifts of tithes and offerings in conjunction with the worship. We do this as we believe our offering is an extension of our act of worship. Communion is taken together on the first Sunday of each month and everyone is invited to participate. We also have baptisms scheduled throughout the year.

As part of our Sunday service we offer infant and toddler care and Sunday School classes after worship for pre-schoolers through Middle and High School aged students. We have an outstanding group of volunteers who love to teach the children in the classes. And, watch for special events and monthly activities for our kids and also for activities and events for Middle and High School students who meet as a group called “Element 8.”

We value relationships and have a number of events and activities planned each month where people of all ages can connect with each other through gatherings such as church lunches, women’s events, bowling, Rockies baseball games, men’s breakfasts, family activities and in-home Bible studies. We publicize these events in our bulletin and also on our Facebook page and Twitter account.

The Vineyard Community Church is also active in outreach to our community. We are purposeful in making sure that real needs of the people around us are met. In the Bible, the 2nd chapter of the book of Acts makes a strong statement about the church being a living and active church and taking care of the people in their community and we strive to model that example.

Vineyard Community Church is a member of Vineyard USA. The Vineyard movement is a global family of 2400+ churches in 90+ countries. We are committed to worship with passion, serve with devotion, and equip people of every age, ethnicity, language, and background to do the works that Jesus did. The Vineyard is a church planting movement that is growing daily.

The Clifton Vineyard Church aligns itself with the beliefs and core values of the Association of Vineyard Churches. For your information, a link to documents pertaining to our Statement of Faith and Core Values are found on this page.
